"I'm going to turn into a pillar of ice if the bus doesn't turn up in the next second," Andy thought while he rubbed his hands vigorously together. He wrapped his scarf round his neck tighter and strained his eyes to see if the bus was indeed approaching. Very few cars were on the road. The frosty weather had deterred people from venturing outdoor.
Andy saw the man come out of the cafe across the road. He was impeccably dressed in a tailored suit and was holding a beautiful fur coat. Despite the cold, he simply held the coat in his hand as he made his way to his car, whistling merrily Andy knew the man had no need for the overcoat. He had probably just drunk a piping hot cup of coffee at the cafe and he would soon be in his luxury car.
As he approached the car, the man fished in his pocket and took out his remote. He pointed the remote at his car and unlocked it. He happened to glance in Andy's direction and saw a forlorn figure shivering in the bus-shelter. Andy saw the man looking at his direction and wondered momentarily if the man was going to offer him a ride. Instead, the man actually mimicked Andy's posture. He hunched his back and put his hands into his pocket. Then he roared in laughter.
Andy was in a rage but there was little he could do so he chose to ignore the nasty man. As the man was about to step into his car, he lost his footing and fell face down into the snow. Andy was amused at first but became concerned when the man remained motionless on the pavement. He knew the man could get pneumonia if he remained on the snow any longer. So he dashed across the road.
