When The Lights Went Out
by aca Yesterday evning there was a power cut. Around 5:30 PM we lit up the candels and my better half tried to fix up some dinner. ... I've told her to forget it get the kids ready and go to the restaurant and eat out. To cut the long story short....kids drove us & waiters mad, lost my nerves alltogether, the bill was high, the food was quite bad & gave me indigestion.......hardly slept last night..... I'm still glad we went out. It was costly in every sense, but the alternative was sitting in the darkness, waiting for the light. We had alternative available.
