by Cecco January 11, 2002 I belong to the skies, For it is my home, My nest's on the ground, In the city of Rome, I travel with style, I travel with pride, Through the roughest of storms, Not seeking to hide. For I'm on a mission, I wish to accomplish, In search of a man, I can clearly distinguish, Together we'll create, A group full of passion, With the colours of my home, His genious and his fashion. We'll travel the boot, To conquer our quest, Compete in all sports, To challenge the best, In moments of joy, And moments of sorrow, Our chins always high, Awaiting tomorrow. Others may try, To imitate our ways, Many years it will take, Not many days, Most important of all, We'll differ from the rest, Our love, strenght, and passion, Will lie beneath our chest. My mission is complete, That man I have found, Bigiarelli's his name, And unique on this gorund, It's a cold winter day, One that will be remembered, The day ninth of January, The year nineteen hundred. A star has been born, One that you will enjoy, You will make it your life, Not a personal toy, It's colours are white, It's colours are blue, Lazio it's name, It's our gift to you.
