| Colleen J. Dyson has been painting full-time since 2001. Initially a landscape painter in watercolour, and looking for a niche for herself, she decided to explore other subject matter and media. She began painting Still Life and Florals in Oils and Acrylics, as these media suited both her temperament as well as her painting style. Colleen's attention to detail and the ability to paint what she "sees" has given her the confidence to take risks and accept challenges that others might avoid. Colleen has won awards at both the national and international levels with her work being carried in both private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom, and has been featured in a variety of publications. |

| Artist's Statement "My work is essentially all about light and colour. Most of it is done from life using drawings and digital imagery in a loose Realist style. Some older works are captured between imagination and memory using abstraction and/or collage." |
