Egg Tempera Demo with Bonnie Sheppard!

On March 7, our own Bonnie Sheppard, a former teacher, treated us to a demo on Egg Tempera.  She was very informative and had several books on the subject for us to peruse. Here she is showing us how to add the gold leaf to the edge of an icon-style painting support.     We were fascinated to find out that the Old Masters used very tiny brushes for their huge paintings, and she showed us why.
