Dianne Schnieders watercolourist

Dianne paints primarily in watercolour, but she also enjoys working in graphite and ink.          She studied art at the University of Calgary and taught art for many years.  She is influenced by the Chinese style of art, with minimal brush strokes and a limited palette, often using only three primary colours in her paintings.  Her love of animals is reflected in the subject matter of her art, with her personal style being best described as "fantasy realism".
