Gladys Wilson
              watercolour
Gladys was born in Saskatchewan and raised on a farm near the town of Spruce Lake.  From her childhood, she began to excel in her favourite subject of Art.  She has always enjoyed the beauty of God's creation and she draws on this appreciation for inspiration to paint many and varied subjects.
She began to pursue painting initially in oils, under the supervision of Lindsay Evans, who was a close friend of A.Y. Jackson.  Although she paints in various mediums, watercolour has become a favourite in expressing numerous subjects from different parts of the world where she has traveled.
