So I was just laying in my bed the other day, book in hand (Case for Christ) and radio on. The book was amusing, but persuasive from a purely theological standpoint, but seriously lacking in true scholarship (unless you consider theological rhetoric true scholarship, I do not). During my theointellectual endeavor, I had a profound thought: God is GOOD!!! So of course, this brings us to the often asked question, why [is God good]? A definitive response to this question would take...well, it would take more than several lifetimes to complete; so you're stuck with the highly abridged version.

Matt. 13:42: "They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Lo! The orgasmic righteousness of the all loving God! I find it preposterous that many Christians flaunt their Word and proclaim how He "was bruised for our iniquities," but then they turn a blind eye to those suffering on earth, as if Jesus' suffering dwarfs all others'. They proclaim how Jesus suffered for our "iniquities" (notice that these iniquities are not avoidable. We're cursed since birth with them, in other words, the human race is vile [now contrast that with God's previous statement on the nature of His creation, "It is good."]), they use Jesus to downplay the true suffering on earth.  I've heard so many obtuse sermons on how much Christ suffered and died for humanity; of course you'll ask, why are they obtuse. They're obtuse 1) because ONE bonified righteous person (let's use Gandhi as an example) will burn in hell for eternity (and that suffering will, by far, dwarf Christ's pissy little masochistic escapade on the cross), Gandhi's suffering is (present tense ppl, Gandhi is burning RIGHT NOW!) greater than Jesus', Gandhi's suffering is greater than any of us can imagine, and why is he suffering? Because he didn't suck up to Jesus! Now avert thy gaze from hell, and incline it towards earth, what doth thine eyes see? I'll tell you what I see, suffering, greater than Christ's and on a far greater scale than existed in the times of Christ. Now where do these suffering individuals find respite? Surely, some will find it in death, but no! For where shall the great God of goodness and love send them? To hell, to endure another eternity of suffering, and why? Because they inclined not their ears (or because they were unable to incline their ears) to Him "who is willing that none should perish, but that all should have everlasting life." Let's see God's goodness, and the good works his sacrifice have wrought.

So that picture has a story behind, we can see that. A Christian would try to soften the sad story, but I won't. Those people suffered in their short stay on earth, and where are they now? Well, a Christian would probably decline to comment, but I don't shy away from truth. They are BURNING IN HELL for ETERNITY! *sings* Praise God from whom all blessings flow *carries the tune*. Sometimes, I bubble over with joy at God's gift of eternal damnation to us, I mean life!

Phew! I'm glad God died for his...wait, he's a Sikh; he's burning in hell for eternity. Oh well, Praise God!

The disgusting nature of the Christian religion (that religion which permeates our country [regardless of the lies of the Christian right, we were NOT founded as a Christian nation, we were founded as a FREE nation, which is contradictory to the Christian world view])...I often wonder why more people aren't outraged at it. We're consumed with the religious fundamentalist threats outside of our country, but when will we realize the threat posed to our way of life that's inside our country and very homes? I believe it was Tacitus who said Christians have a great "hatred of the human race." Remember, according to the Christian, you're guilty merely for being born.
