| Two of the group, John 'Pip' Habil and 'Manhattan Charlie' Mader, have been making a fall trip the past several years. Fall brings stable weather and schooling bass and stripers. These two veteran fisherman mainly fish over the weed beds in the morning and evenings and worm fish the flats and ridges during the day. |

| Pip 8 1/2 lbs Occasionally they will run into a school of bass or stripers busting shad on top and the action turns into a frenzy. Pip caught his 8 1/2 pounder on a Texas rigged worm in the fall while Manthattan caught his 9lb 3 oz. whopper in the spring on a Texas rigged lizard. Both fish were released back into the lake. |
