Our wedding was not too big, but not small. We had a few refreshments and our family and close friends.
But it was what I always dreamed of and even though my daddy wasn't there to walk my down the aisle I had my papa which was the next best thing and it made me so happy to have him there to walk me down and give me away along with my mother. Even though I was crying going down the aisle. I was crying mainly cause my daddy wasn't there...but somehow I know he was looking down on me watching. I put his picture up to the right of us and an arrangement of lily's behind it.
It was nice to have a lot of my family help out with the planning and taking care of stuff. I really needed it.
We started it off with playing "How Do You Fall In Love" by Alabama and during that was the seating of the mothers and grandmothers. Then a soloist we hired sung "Surely the Presence" which he sings so beautifully. That was followed by "Cannon in D" and the wedding party came in with that.
Next it was time for to come in. We did the chiming of the hour and I came in to "Trumpet Voluntary"
After the minister greeted everyone we had "Love of My Life" played while Jason and I stood next to each other and looked into each other's eys....it is at this point I was very nervous and Jason says I was staring so hard I scared him!
Then my Papa gave me away...lifting my veil and kissing me on the cheek and putting it down again. I wanted Jason to lift it also at the end of the ceremony. Next we exchanged vows and followed the soloist then sang "The Wedding Song". We then exchanged our rings and lit our Unity Candle and the soloist then sang  "Unity Candle Song"
The minister then blessed the marriage and introduced us before we walked up the aisle as husband and wife for the 1st time!!!!!!
