The picture in the side shows the SEM photomicrograph of closed cell foam produced from modified 0.7 IV post consumer recycled PET resin with Carbon Dioxide. Average cell size is ~500mm.Density of the product is 0.1g/cc. 1.25" diameter, 40 L/D long segmented single screw extruder and a 3 mm dia. rod die was used to produce this foam.
