| An early and All Ages show at the entry. Very nice. So I get there a bit early and there's this line outside, it curves back towards the entry doorway. So I thought it was for the 7th street entry show. Nope, it wasn't. I get lost in the line and hear people talking about Smilin Liar and Sublevel who were playing in the Main Room in First Ave the same night..haha. So I go up to the 7th st. Entry doorway and try to pull it open, it doesn't open. still locked, so I wait. and it finally opens at 4PM. I take a bar stool and sit facing the stage. Very bored for the next 45 minutes as I wait for Heads & Bodies to take the stage.. time goes by and they do. Head & Bodies has a clarinet player, atleast I think it's a clarient she plays. I've never seen that, but it sounded different and they had a few good songs. They were alright, took me by suprise, I guess. Next came RivetHead! I don't know if it was me really enjoying them or what, but they seemed to play a really short set. They played some stuff off of their record and whatnot which was cool, cause I knew some of the songs like "30 Miles Down." I love RivetHead, so it was bonus to have them there, but who I really came for was The Crush. They played some songs off their CD and talked about finally having an All Ages show after six months. One of the guys from RivetHead came up and sang a song with The Crush. They did a great show and I'm happy I didn't miss it. |
