Nothing to Lose/ Random/ The Husky Handsomes/ Halfway/ S.O.L. / Full Throttle - August '01 @ Lakefront Park

Very very good show!  First came on Nothing to Lose and it seemed they had a few technical difficulties, but i thought they did good.  Since it was the first band, no one seemed to participate ..  i would have..but anyway.  they sang all of their usual songs, including "no complaint" (I love that song.) along with others..dain dyed his hair purple..its very pretty, i just thought i'd mention it.  next came on Random and thats when i decided to go back to work (i got an extra half hour in), when i came back, they were still playing and i took my seat back on the grass.  people were dancing by now. they were good and got people up out of their chairs, sort of a ska sound.  next came on the husky handsomes.  ska, very poppy sound.  pretty much the same as randome, except more people.  halfway was after that and i had seen them before, but they were also very good, pop/punk sound.  blink 182ish/a new found gloryish sound.  after that SOL!! They were very good tonight.  everyone just sort of came foward and soon as they got on stage and ready to play.  i dont even know what they played, but they were excellent, probably the best show they've played so far.  i was an hour late getting home, because they were that good (they ended at 10-yeah, im pathetic).  awsome, awsome band! go see them some time!!
