Cinnamon Nuts
Quantity/Servings:    1/4 cup
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cups unsalted dry-roasted nuts (your choice)
Preparation:
In saucepan, over medium-high heat, combine sugar, cinnamon, cream of tartar and boiling water.  Continue boiling until a candy thermometer registers 246 degrees F.  Stir in nuts and remove from heat.  Continue stirring as mixture cools.  Syrup will turn to sugar coating on nuts.  Turn out nuts on a flat surface covered with wax paper.  Separate the nuts and allow to cool.  When completely cool and dry, store in a tightly covered container.
