Ingredients:
Here's a great summer recipe for burgers...
1 tsp. veg. oil (I omit this)
4 green onions chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
1 egg white
2 tbsp water
1 slice bread, crumbled (I use 100% whole wheat)
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
12 oz. lean ground beef
4 buns
Preparation:
Heat oil over medium heat; cook onions, garlic, & amp; marjoram stirring for 2 minutes or until onions are
softened. I just "steam" them with a bit of water rather than oil. Let
cool.

In bowl, whisk egg white with water till frothy. Stir in bread,
onion mix, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix in beef. Shape into 4 3/4 inch
thick patties.

Place patties on greased grill over medium heat, cook
turning once, for 12-15 minutes or till no longer pink inside. I use my
non-stick pan to cook  (haven't tried the grill)
