Lowfat Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:
3 1/3 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
3 cups sugar
1 cup applesauce (unsweetened)
2/3 cup water
4 egg whites
2 cups pumpkin
Preparation:
In a large bowl, sift dry ingredients together. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add remaining ingredients. Stir together wuntil well blended. Grease and flour two loaf pans. Bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes, then lower temperature to 300 degrees and bake for 30 minutes more.
