Miniature Meatballs
Quantity/Servings:      7 meatballs
Ingredients:
Vegetable oil spray
1 slice whole wheat bread
1 pound lean ground round
1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 Tablespoon sherry
1 Tablespoon light soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.  Lightly spray a broiler pan with vegetable oil.  In blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade, chop bread into fine crumbs with on-off pulse.  In bowl, combine bread crumbs and remaining ingredients.  Mix well to distribute spices and flavors evenly.  With large end of a melon baller, scoop out balls of mixture, rounding off top with other hand.  Plce meatballs on prepared broiler pan and bake 15 minutes.  Serve hot.
