A cake for a baby shower, the blocks spell out BABY; buttercream covers yellow butter cake with coconut jam filling. The blocks and ball are also sculpted from cake.
Christening cake, purple yam with coconut preserve filling covered in delicate tinted buttercream.
A race car cake, the car is carved from a chocolate butter loaf cake set on a sheet cake. Tinted buttercream captures all the details, while chocolate buttercream makes it a sure favorite!

For a Thomas-themed children's party; The cakes were baked in loaf pans and Thomas was hand-carved. Buttercream in bright shades gives the cake life; the wheels are Oreo cookies.
Featuring a portrait doll, this was a flower-shaped strawberry cake filled with strawberries and decorated in shades of pink and white buttercream.

This was a mocha cake frosted in buttercream and covered in chocolate swirls, for the milestone birthday of a structural engineer.
Made for a little Yankees fan! This features banana cakes -- one in a large sheet, and a t-shirt shaped one, filled and iced with buttercream. Although this was a first-birthday cake, it can easily be made for any age, or for a groom's cake.
Another 60th birthday cake, this time for a lady. It features fresh flowers and buttercream tinted blue for the patterns, and an unusual diamond shape made of mocha cake..
This little devil for a man's birthday was made with fondant over -- of course-- devil's food cake. The bright red color was painted on.

A "cheeky" Valentine for people who love chocolate and banana cakes.
A two -tiered hexagonal cake bedecked with fall flowers out of royal icing. The cattails are chocolate candy built around skewers.
This pretty cherry-chocolate pound cake is covered in white chocolate fondant. A project for a class, it features a cattleya orchid, sampaguita flowers, edible ribbon insertion, and delicate stringwork.
A fooler! This four-tiered cake is actually only three inches tall, made of polymer clay for a miniature dollhouse scene for charity.
