Meet Dixie Bugle Young, she is Fayth's Baby. She is a beagle who was given to us by our good friend Karen Lucas from Greenville, VA. Dixie came to live with us in March of 2005. She is a wild one and lives up to her name but she is also very loyal and loves Fayth more than anything. We can't imagine our lives without her. |

Meet MS America Gizmo Young. America was born here at our house to a mean ole stray we had taken in. She was our favorite from the get go. America was the first to climb out of her box where she was born and she never walked...she always ran... LOL she was just too funny! She was born on 07-04-04 and that is where she got the beautiful name America from. |

Meet Sampson "Sambo" Young. He is the biggest baby you will ever meet! We bought Sampson as a 6 week old puppy and have enjoyed his company every since. He will be 7 years old this May. He is very protective and lets us know whenever someone comes around. However, he is extremely gentle with our family and all of our other pets. German Shepherds are just great dogs IMO. Update: We lost our Sampson on 7-28-07 : ( We are unsure what happened, we think he "may" have been posioned or bitten by a snake. We really are not sure, all we are sure of is he will be missed everyday for the rest of our lifes. He was the best dog we have ever known. |

Meet the new kid in town ~ Luke ~ Luke is a male German short haired pointer. He was given to us by one of Matt's good friends Robert (THANK YOU Robert!) All of the family agreed, no more pets for awhile...they simply can't ease the pain of losing Sampson. But when Robert told us about Luke, Fayth & I really started thinking about how nice it would be to have another dog around. He could never fill Sampson's shoes but as we have found out over the past few weeks, he is making his own shoes to fill...he is a total fire ball! Thank you Luke for making us remember why we love animals so much in the first place but thank you most for helping ease some of that pain with your kind eyes, gentle soul, love and trust! |
