A/n:
What idiot would try to claim a person these days? So ovoiusly D&D belong to themselves. I do not know if they are in a realationship. That's their life and, although they would make a nice couple,  To my knowledge their not or never have been.  ~but a girl can dream can't she!~
This is Alternate Universe. Exactly like this one though, the only real difference is the age and the fact they aren't famous in this. The theme is sorta like a movie I saw when I was eight. I don't know the title, seeming I saw it like 6 1/2 years ago.  But credit and congrats to those who own it. The only thing that's mine is the idea of using d&d and also some events that are extremely different from the flick.
And no I'm not making money, if I was I don't think I'd be writing this.Things to buy...*laughs madly*

~ Darren and Daniel are in early twenties. They are married and have adopted a baby girl.~

Prologue:

Samantha giggled as Darren leaned down and kissed her good-bye. "Bye sweetheart, I'll be back bye lunch, so don't worry."
Turning to Dan, who was at the counter pouring a cup of coffee, Darren smiled. He was truly blessed to have him, and to be loved by him. The love they shared was strong, the kind that your heart swell for, making you cry because you wished someone loved you like that. And he did, and for that he was content. It didn't matter that they weren't rich and famous- they still had each other, and made enough by playing at clubs, and that kept them happy.

Daniel turned and handed Darren a cup. "Remember to get some wine, ok? I forgot that Oliver was coming up this weekend with his fiancé, so we need some." Leaning in he kissed Darren gently on the lips. "Be safe though, hon."

Laughing and encircling Daniel's waist with his arms he said, "Danny don't worry so much. I'm only going to the store... not going to war. What could possibly happen." And with that he leaned in and again the two were kissing. Warm firm lips brushing smoothly against each other. Passionate yet simple, they kissed on. Daniel's thumb rested on the small of Darren's back, brushing it comfortingly. Darren opened his eyes to look at Dan. To his surprise they were open and the green speckled eyes gazed at him. They were full of love, understanding, passion, and an odd look. His eyes had a hint of fear and misery in them, and yet it was only like a mist that wasn't even visible, but you knew it was there. Dismissing it for the moment Darren closed his eyes once more. He savored the taste of his lover's lips for a few more short moments then pulled away gently, sighing for the miss of the lips and the need of breath.

    "Bye, darling."
    "See you later.."

As Darren was exiting the door, Daniel spoke again. "And Dazza........ I love you."

    "I love you too......"

The shopping center was crowded. It was a busy Saturday on which everyone wanted to rid of their food needs. Darren walked around looking for the things on His list. Shampoo.....diapers.....milk......cheese...steak for Sunday's dinner....yogurt...and lastly cucumbers. 'Umm,' Darren thought, 'cucumber sandwiches....almost as tasty as Daniel's kisses.' When he was finished picking out their food he went to the checkout.

~beep beep beep~  "The total is twenty three ninety seven, Sir."

Darren pulled out his card handing it to her. When he got it back he picked up the bags. Walking to the car he remembered Danny had wanted some wine. 'Shit,' he thought, 'I'll just put these in the car and run back in'  Popping the bags in the front seat then heading back. Darren walked to the wine aisle and got two bottles of red wine. Suddenly near him there was a loud shout.
Turning his head a bit, towards the cash registers, he saw what was wrong. A man in a black hood was holding a gun at a young woman in the cashier's booth.

"I SAID THE MONEY, NOOOOOW," He screamed. People around were starting to scream and run. The man turned and swept the gun through the air. "Nobody move or you'll be sorry."  The petrified cashier was trembling and crying. When she was yet again at gun point she trembled so badly she couldn't comply with the mans wishes. The man, who by now was extremely angry and nervous, turned and looked around. Upon seeing Darren, frozen in his spot, he yelled. "YOU! GET OVER HERE!"

Darren walked over shaking slightly and wishing he'd never come back in. "OPEN IT AND GET IT ALL OUT--I SAID ALL!"  Darrens hands fumbled to put the wads of money in the paper bag. When he was finished The Man backed away. On his fifth step he turned and quickly walked towards the door. Without thinking Darren started running after him. He was about eight feet away from the guy when he spun around. Aiming the gun he repetitively pulled the trigger, shooting Darren three times in his chest.

An image flashed, for only a second, in Darren's head, as he fell sideways to the ground. Sammy in her highchair suddenly crying out. And Daniel's contorted face, full of anguish and fear as he dropped his coffee mug, shattering it on the floor. Tears welled up and he crumpled against the sink, dropping onto the broken pieces. A hand clutching a dishrag against the cabinet as Dan started sobbing uncontrollably.

And then, everything went black.
