A/n: This was going to be the
same chapter as the last one but I decided against it. I've been having
a bit of trouble now writing it...~cries~ The power is gone..~sigh~..and
I don't know if I should end it the same way as the movie..or make it a
happy ending...OPINIONS PEOPLE! I mean its sorta off the plot of
the movie anyways. Basically the only similarity was the rebirth and the
angel people...Hmm...angst or love? love or angst? I'm o' so good at horrible
endings...hehe...but I dunno. Just point me out in what you want to see.
Thax again for reviews.
Damian
awoke the next morning with a start. Those damn dreams again. Not even
a night of sleep in peace. He tried to hold onto them, as he grabbed his
notepad. He had been doing this since he was little, or when ever these
dreams had happened to him. He drew what he saw. His father thought it
was a waste of time, and money, but Damian just ignored him. Dreams like
this seemed important to him. Glancing at the clock he drew quickly. Just
brief sketches with a pencil and he put the book down.
Getting up he
went to his bureau to dress, as he did he thought about the dreams. There
had been a man, and he had been crying. Damian was sure it was the same
man as all the other dreams. But he never saw his face clearly. Then there
had been other images. He couldn't remember them, but he knew that's why
the guy had been crying. Something about pain and loss. It aggravated him,
yet the man intrigued him. He felt so much for these dreams, like..like
they were rea-No that wasn't possible.
Looking again at
the clock, Damian pushed away those thoughts and ran downstairs.
He popped a bagel in the toaster and looked around for his bag. 'Why does
school have to start today' he thought, 'we just got here and nothings
in place.' Spoting the bag he grabbed it and the folder, with his
school transfer papers. Rushing back to the kitchen he grabbed his bagel
and ran out the door.

It was about 15 minutes into Sam's second class, Chorus, there was an interruption. Apparently there was a transfer student. She looked up to eye the new kid. He was fairly tall and lean. His red shirt stretched nicely over his chest, revealing small, but well built muscles. The boy was wearing loose black cargos that covered his feet. The boy was talking uncertainly to the teacher but Sam could see he was beautiful. He had the most interesting eyes, a shade of green blue that shone as he moved. His hair was short black, with reddish frosted tips. Samantha had a faint feeling that she'd seen him before.
The teacher stepped
up and spoke. "Class we have a new student, Damian Hargrove. He will be
having this class second period. Would anyone like to show him around,
so he can get the setup of the school?......Oh Samantha, you already finished
your assignment right?"
Sam nodded her head. The teacher
then told her she could be excused for the rest of class to show Damian
around. Sam picked up her bag and walked towards the door. Damian followed
her and closed the door behind him. Turning to Sam he shook her hand politely.
"Hi, I'm Samantha Jones. But you can call me Sam. Everyone does. Well except the teachers who call you by your last name or your legal first name. And if you haven't caught on yet I talk a lot."
Laughing Damian replied,"Thats ok. You can call me Daz. My friends called me that. Strange story. I talk a lot too, I think. Sing more though."
"You actually sing?"
"Uh-yeah. Why else would I be in chorus?"
"Well a lot of the boys do it just to get out of harder electives. They just mouth the words and so on.....although some actually sing..."
"Oh, well I did that when I was in forth year, but then I found out I loved singing. My friends think I'm strange...but its fun....and here I am giving way to much information to someone I just met. I'm sorry."
"It's perfectly fine. Anyways, where do you want to go? Anything specific you want to see?"
"Well I guess I should know where my classes are....one second. Le' me get my schedule." Damian reached into his bag for his papers. "Well I have Math next, room 234-"
"I have that next! We can go there after I show you the other places....what else do you have today, maybe we have other classes together."
"Um..science, lunch, gym, study and last I have English...."
"Well I have lunch seventh, and gym last...so that means I don't have to show you alot of the rooms. If you want we can just walk around and look at the rooms you don't have with me. That way you can find them yourself.....Come on ."

The rest of the day passed slowly. Damian decided he strongly disliked his Math teacher. Upon meeting him, the teacher had looked at him oddly and then kept calling on him. WHAT THE HELL?! He hadn't even been there for a day and already he was being terrorized. At the end of the day Damian started to walk home. Suddenly someone called him.
"Daz! Wait up."
"Hi," He said as he turned to see Sam walking towards him. "Hehehe, you remembered my name...ussually everybody doesn't"
"Well I'm not everybody. So which way are you going? You are walking home, right?"
"Yup. I'm don't know the street but I do know how to get there."
"Interesting...Mind if I walk with you? Well until you head in another direction?"
"Sure why not. I'd love company."
Sam and Damian walked. At Sam's corner Damian said good-bye, saying he was only one block over.

That night,
Right before Sam nodded off, she smiled. She felt like today was a really
good day. Sam felt like she'd found something that she'd been missing for
a long, long time. But she couldn't shake off the feeling she recognized
Damian. Like she'd seen him somewhere. Or in pictures. He just looked so
much like someone she'd know. As Sam closed he eyes a thought drifted into
her head. 'You asked for your father...and there he is'. But before the
thought could register Sam was asleep.
