1596cc, twin port, AS21 case
stock 69mm crank, stock con-rods
very mild cam, P2 Grind, reground stock cam, 272deg adv, 11.1mm lift at valve
stock twin port heads, 8,1:1 CR, slightly ported and polished by myself (no pics though)
stock valve train (floats at 6000rpm)
Full electronic ignition, Bosch 070 contactless elec ign
Twin Weber 36IDFs with 30mm venturies
German quiet pack 4 into 1 exhaust 1 3/8" (35mm) headers

As you can see, a very stock engine with a few nice mods.
I can keep a 2000 BMW 320i behind me up to 70mph, top end to date is 185km/h and still pulling strong.


Plans for new engine

2332cc Street Eater, hopefully M3 destroyer.

Parts already owned or awaiting delivery:
AS 21 Case to be tapped for full flow oiling and addition oil coolers.
Mahle 94mm B Piston and sleeve set. (B stipulates that it is suitable for an engine with a larger than stock stroke)
CB perfomance 044 Heads with 42mm inlet valves and 37mm exhaust valves. All valves are Manleys.
Twin Weber 48IDF carbs, these might seem a bit large, but hey, what the hell!!!
11 Blade Porsche fan
30mm oil pump
Forged 84mm CB crank, with chevy rod journals
Web-cam 121/125 cam with stock style adjustable cam gear.
___inlet 298deg advertised, 270deg actual @1.25mm lift, 12.45mm lift
___exh 288deg adv, 262 actual, 12.14mm lift at valve.
Scat H-Beam con-rods, 5.325" with Chevy Journals.
Scat Lifters, with centre hole drilled to lube the cam lobe better.

Gauges, Oil pressure and temp, Cyl head temp.
Deep sump.
