Love. For the first time, he knew what love was! She was tall- exquisite! Long blond hair flowed from a double bun of sunlight, ready to spill over his hands. Blue, blue, the sky in her eyes, a sign that his heaven had come; to clasp him to the full breast and and entwine him in long sinuous limbs, pale in contrast to his own sun- darkened limbs. Fire walk; he burned at the sight of her. Incandescent in form and radiently hued, she was a melancholy angel come for him; his reward.

Light gilded hair; where daylight caressed a nimbus of melted gold shone; a halo. A flame of soul blue where her large eyes flashed. Even her delicate nose crinkled in disgust sent an arrow through his heart.

He must have her. Fire burned in his groin. He must. Every heartbeat sounded a covetuous call; mine, mine, mine..

It was to be now, or never again; one did not pass an angel up. "Hello! I am Ranma Saotome! This is my school! I would permit you to date me!" In her eagerness at the humble offering, the blond lunged for his open arms and face, her own twisting in frenetic excitement.

But heaven's arms were denied him, her hooked, grasping fingers just short of caressing his chisled face. A tiny red head, pale and sickly in her imperfection, yanked Beauty back.

"I'm gonna fu-" his love's husky voice was cut short by the jealous one jumping on her.

"Now now, La- La- chan!" How the little girl restrained so fine a glorious a woman as his beloved, he could not say. Opportunity passed him by as his true love- "La-la-chan.." the name was a mouth of coolest water in the burning desert of his heart- was dragged off, spouting words that made no sense. Disconsolate with grief. Ranma shook his head. Maddened with it.

"GODSDAMMIT LINA! IF YOU DON'T- I'M GONNA FU-"

She was gone. Ranma's head now hung low on his chest. He would have cried were he not so manly. A hand on his shoulder startled him, though he did not flinch.

"I'd forget about her, man." It was Tenchi.. something.. that round- headed boy that all the less deserving females so adored. "She doesn't swing that way." Ranma blinked and looked at Tenchi's balloon- esque head, puzzlement on his own godly features. "She was kissing that little red- haired girl this morning before classes." A look of shock split his features. Tenchi shuddered. Ranma looked like a friggin' pirhanna when he did that.

"I CAN GIVE HER THAT!!!" he hollared, then ran off for the drinking fountain.
