MORE FUN AT PAPAS!!
After having a hell of a week and being totally depressed, I came home from work yesterday ready to just crash and burn. I didn't want to do ANYTHING. But around 8:30 PM Priscella calls me up and anounces that she'll be picking me up in 30 minutes no BUTS about it! So we headed down to Rosarito for some serious dancing!
As always the place was packed!! Spring Break was over so it wasn't as packed as the last time we had gone, but there was still over 500 people easily. After sampling a couple of super strong cocktails, we were good to go.
After ditching the first two touchy-feely guys we met at the bar (mexican guys are so bold!), we headed upstairs to the dance floor and pretty much ignored everyone else and got lost in the music. They played really good music for a long time!! I was happy they were playing Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre & Tupac. We danced with a few decent guys but then around 1:30 they started playing trance so we decided to head out of there.
All that dancing (and not having eaten since noon but still downing a bunch of liquor) made us hungry so we headed over to Macho Taco (I've been going there since I first went to Rosarito with Eriko & Ryu) which is one of the many little taco stands on the main road. I was surprised that the lady (maybe the owner?) still remembered me! I haven't seen her in like 8 months but she greeted me like it was only yesterday. She even asked about Eriko ("the girl with the tall shoes"). It's so nice just to talk with regular people!
We finally got back to San Diego at around 3AM. I was practically falling asleep at the wheel I was so sleepy. I slept like a dead person all nite. That was just what I to pick me back up and bring out the real me. I'm glad I have a best friend who always just knows what to say or do because she just KNOWS me. I don't think there's anyone else in the world who I can relate to better. Life sure is a lot funner since you joined the party Prissy Pants. ^o^ |
