Radiohead
Pyramid Stage
Glastonbury
June 28, 2003

Radiohead then play a much-mooted headline slot, their return to Glastonbury for the first time since 1997. It's a very similar set to the one I witnessed in Manchester in late May, but generally the crowd love it, and I could hardly get tired of watching Radiohead. The mass chants of "CRREEEEIIEEAAAPPPP" are unfortunate (and just a little retarded, given the band's likely response to them) but Radiohead compensate. This allows me to witness "Karma Police" live for the first time in two and a half years, and they play great versions of "Sit Down Stand Up" (complete with added piano) "Everything In It's Right Place" (Thom's sampled vocals melting into a kind of helium disco boogie).
