So what's Radiohead up to? Everyone knows they're way too smart to release Amnesiac full of not-so memorable songs! So hear is my guess...Thom and the boys wanted to put out something more like the B-sides to these singles, but the label had their share of these boundary benders. So they put out Amnesiac to please the label, and released the real gems as these B-sides for only the fans who 'get it.' In a perfect world, we'd have Amnesiac chalk full of songs like 'The Amazing Sounds of Orgy', 'Trans-Atlantic Drawl', 'Fast-Track' and 'Kinetic.' They live on in the vein of Kid A, much more of a digital experience, a lot Aphex Twin and Autechre influence. I'd rather have these singles then the regular album.
