Rarely,
in recent times, does a band justify that momentous magical aura inherent
in the double A-side as well as Radiohead on these two contrasting numbers.
The more acoustic based ‘High And Dry’, in particular, should help to lay
the ghost of Thom Yorke and Co. being labelled one-hit wonders, thanks
to the unforgettable ‘Creep’. Nevertheless, the grungier, dirtier ‘Planet
Telex’ is a fitting companion to the forlorn appeal of 'High And Dry' as
it sets about demolishing those cynics and begrudgers always ready to knock
you down when you strive to go your own way.
