My recent work basically are trying to build a model which can explain some phase transitions in the compact star/neutron star. It is widely believed that in the core of neutron star there may exist some exotic phases like CFL(color flavor locked),2SC (2flavor superconductivity), and LOFF/crystalline phase (Larkin,Ovchinikov,Fulde,Ferrel).
Even in the outer and inner crust of neutron star also exist some interesting phases like neutron superfluidity, proton superconductivity, and pasta phase To study those problems, we need knowledge about pairing mechanism such like the BCS model.
