Mandsaur Institute of technology was established in the city of Mandsaur in the state of Madhya Pradesh in year 1996. M.I.T. is governed by the board of governers with Mr. Narendra Nahta (Ex cabinet minister) as its chairman.
The institute runs Under Graduate courses approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The Institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.
