Rancor snakes were first recorded in Terra as vicious slithering hunters that preyed on everything from rats to eggs. They have been known to reside in many humid places of the world, including Pasaphaea and Evas Edon.

Tree spiders are located only in Moranda due to its specific trees they tend to thrive in. It is notoriously a bad idea to find shelter in or by any of Moranda's forests because of these incredibly deadly arachnids.

Small insects that light up "as stars in a forest". Although very beautiful in appearance, "sixty of them could kill you".
They eat salt, including the type located in people's skin. They are especially drawn to humid places.
