Kale Kalloch
"I met Kale for the first time some years ago at the Kerrville Folk Festival
although I had previously been introduced to her music by my friend and fellow songwriter Danny Dolinger.
We sat around near the bottom of Chapel Hill the last day of the Festival and tossed around songs, She played me a gem she wrote called "Chesapeake" and some other keepers that I did not get the names of.
Like Danny, Ky Hote & Owl, Anne Feeney and other of our tribe, her heart is in the right place,ours is an ancient tribe, and Kale's songs both soothe and shake the spirit free!
