Enjoy the view of the Garden Route while traveling by train

Relive those heady days of steam-powered travel with South Africa’s last regular Class 24 locomotives. In timer-and-leather-fitted carriages you puff past the Garden Route’s dense woodland and pretty coves, pierce dark tunnels and    rattle  over high bridges. The  train leaves George at 8:15am, arrives in Knysna at 11:24am and starts the return       journey 90 minutes later.
