22nd ARW, McConnell AFB, KN>>
For my Operations Air Force program this summer I spent 3 weeks at McConnell AFB, Kansas. Things weren't very busy, but that gave us more time for sleeping, drinking, and meeting people. The one really mentionable thing we did get to do was take a hop to Hawaii!! It took some networking and phone calls, but we pulled it off. The base commander really supported us, so we are sure thankful for him and his staff. On the flight over we dragged six F-16s over the pond and gassed 'em up 3 times. Below are the pictures of them. I took all the head on shots from the boom operator spot, and the rest were from the side windows or the cockpit. To help things load up quickly, there are thumbnails at the bottom to choose from.
