It's the one question I get most often from people who aren't members of the band, colorguard, or choir:   "What on earth is Shadow Warriors?"   Shadow Warriors is the title of the pit/drumline at Fallbrook High School in Fallbrook, California.  We had fourteen members this past season:   Tenor:  Cory & Jacob   Snare:  Jon & Katie   Bass:  Jeggi, Montana, & Alex   Marimba:  Vanna   Xylophone:  Amanda (me)   Vibes:  Chelsea   Bells:  Patrick   Chimes/Misc:  Shannyn   Misc Toys:  Carl   Timpani:  Arek These are only the instruments we specialized in; we all played other things such as crash cymbals, suspended cymbals, and gong.  Some of us even got to play really fun stuff like upturned trash cans and brake drums from Nissans.  (LOL)  This season, we competed in DAC, or Drums Across California, and had a new instructor named Mr. Norris.  We called him our percussion god.  =)   Our theme this year was "Lady Bonita" (think: Spanish rose) and our music was an original composition by our instructor.  Throughout the year, we consistently placed well at every show, and at our last competition we even took sweepstakes in our division.  Fallbrook certainly left its mark on the DAC this season!
