CASTLE BY THE SEA

In the past, I loved you.
Another time, another distant place.
Centuries have passed since our embrace.
Love, I long to see your face.

In our castle by the sea,
I dreamed of only you and me.
Nights grow

Of long ago, and far away,
Of a time and era, not today.
A love so sweet, pure and true,
longer and days do pass,
I miss you now,my dear sweet lass.
Blonde tresses blowing in the wind,
Time has passed us by again.

Distant time, some other place,
Perhaps by chance, I glimpse your face.
Of time gone past, of love devine,
I miss you now, heart that once was mine.
One day perchance, if fate is sweet,
Once more it will be time for us to meet.
