After All These Years
Climbing the ladder to a wonder land,
Where songs unsung are there to enchant
Where visions of her deceased friend are there to see
And pages of his earthly life are scattered to read
Where a good-bye is met with a fresh hello
And bodiless souls dance the dance of the rose,
Where destiny reaches its final approach,
And happiness on wings of love highly soars.
A holistic dance her soul performs
With such a contentment hidden from all,
Touching his soul at the end of time
Spread glitters of beauty all around
On clouds of whiteness their spirits dance
Above a round world left to chance
A timeless portrait for her is finally achieved
When their souls met in heaven after all these years...
