Colored Days

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm).

I handle you my heart as a mighty pen

leaking its ink of love on pages to blend

with scents of feelings knowing no end

linking them to yours once again.

Make me happy or make me sad

color me blue or color me bright

it is up to you now to decide

Whether I should proceed or go back.

The spirit of poetry is enchanting your name

I close my eyes and I see you there

alone in the midst of pain with me to blame

for leaving you shattered holding the reins.

How selfish of me to break your heart

seeking intellect as a means of fight

to set us free from bondage of time

when two souls are only bonded by poetic lines.

I see the heart is unwilling to disguise

of what your endless love is all about

nestling in its deepest chamber so deep

imprints of your love is there to keep.

My heartthrobs are meant for you alone

the one who knows me for quite so long

on moonlit rays they are sent your way

to splash your slumber with colored days.
