Justice was born on a farm that raises Canadian Pintos and Paints. When he was a weanling, he made an impression on Tanya Sundlie when he was the only foal out a group that walked up to her in the pasture. He was quite pigeon toed and paddled when he walked. He was also extremely friendly and adorable, and Tanya ended up buying the little solid bay colt. Tanya started Justice under saddle herself, and was quite surprised to find that he had nice, flowing movement and a talent for dressage. She had pegged him as a halter or Western Pleasure horse, due to his laid back disposition and somewhat lazy, easygoing behavior. When Justice was old enough,

Tanya also started him over fences. In 2000, she was going to put him up for sale, and had Amberley film his sale video. Amberley, however, loved riding him, and ended up starting to half lease Justice that fall. In the summer of 2003, Amberley purchased Justice from Tanya, and is his current owner. Justice still loves people and is rather nasty to other horses (other than his old buddy Beau). Justice became very well known in the barn over the last couple years, as he was always looking for attention or playing with his assortment of dog toys that were tied to his stall. He is currently at Tanya's parents' acreage on pasture rest until his fetlock heals. Amberley visits him whenever possible and brings him tonnes of carrots!
