‘New Kids’ in Sizzling Secret Romance
Teenyboppers across America are swooning over singing sensations New Kids on the Block – but what fans DON’T know is that two Kids have girlfriends! They’ve been keeping that news hush-hush for fear it’ll turn off teen girls. Here are the facts behind the Kids’ secret romances.
Band Leader Flips for Divorced Mom, 29
By Brian Williams and Peter Fenton

New Kids on the Block leader Donnie Wahlberg, 20, is singing love songs to a girlfriend who's anything but a "kid" - she's a 29-year-old divorcee with a 7 year-old son.

And she doesn't even like the Kids music!

Donnie and his new steady Lisa Aguinaga are trying to keep their romance a secret from his adoring teenybopper fans – but it’s no secret how the heartthrob feels about Lisa:

"I love her! She’s different from the other girls I’ve been with," he told a pal. "Compared to her they were just girls – Lisa’s a woman."

The couple met in late February when Lisa drove her three young cousins to the Tampa, Fla., airport for a glimpse of their idols, who were flying in for a concert.

Donnie was fleeing from screaming fans when Lisa bumped into him on an escalator. She asked him to sign a poster for her cousins – and he asked her out.

And that night Lisa left her son with an aunt and met Donnie at the band’s hotel Lisa told a close pal.

The couple dated again the next night after the Kids concert. And a few days later Donnie flew Lisa to his hometown, Boston, where he was enjoying a day off from his concert tour.

"Donnie and I spent most of the time in the hotel bedroom," Lisa disclosed to her pal. "We ordered in dinner – hamburgers, french fries and shrimp.

"He also took me on a drive through his old neighborhood. But the only sight I wanted to see was Donnie Wahlberg!"

Lisa joined Donnie again for two days in New York City when the band performed at nearby Meadowlands Arena in later March – and they talk by phone every night, Lisa told her close pal.

"Lisa is special," Donnie confided to his friend.

"She told me she wasn’t all that crazy about our music. I like that honesty. She likes me just for me. Who knows what’s next?"

Lisa revealed to her pal: "We’ve both been told to be careful about publicity. Donnie’s managers said a romance with a divorcee with a child wasn’t exactly teen magazine material.

"All I can say to his teenage fans is – girls, eat your hearts out!"

Just as Yoko lured John Lennon away from the Beatles 20 years ago, Seiko is making music with Donnie Wahlberg

A JAPANESE beauty may be breaking up New Kids on The Block - just like Yoko Ono busted up the Beatles 20 years ago when she won the heart of John Lennon and alienated the other band members.

In a bizarre rerun of the romance that wrecked the Fab Four, sexy Japanese singer Seiko has captivated New Kids' heartthrob Donnie Wahlberg.

The group's fans are doubly outraged because 28-year-old Seiko is married with a baby daughter - and is seven years older than the leader of the fabulously successful Boston group.

The couple have already recorded a romantic duet. The Right Combination, and it's accompanied by a steamy video of them hugging and embracing as they look lovingly into each other's eyes.

Donnie's record with Seiko is the first any member of New Kids has made away from the band.

It has added fuel to speculation that multi-millionaire teenbopper idols are set split up.

A New Kids source tells STAR: "Seiko's arrival could be just like the Beatles' bust-up all over again.

"There is no doubt that the band will break up. They're all set to do solo projects in the near future. That will help soften the break."

Even before his romance with Seiko, Donnie was talking of quitting when he said: "I'm fed up with the band and living a lie. The goody-goody image we have is getting on my nerves. I'm not like that. I'm no saint."

But the group was saved when their manager and father-figure Dick Scott persuaded Donnie to stay on and agreed that the band could do individual projects.

The song Donnie recorded with Seiko - who is Japan’s top female star - was made when the couple spent some days together in Boston.

Sultry Seiko – who has sold 25 million records in Japan – was branded a witch in her country when Japanese people accused her of turning her back on her husband and three-year-old baby daughter by returning to a pop career.

The singer, who spent six months in the last year in America away from her husband and child, admitted, "I wanted to record with a famous Western star because I want to be successful in the West.

"When I found the Right Combination, I went to my record company and told them I had a perfect song which I wanted to do with one of the New Kids on The Block.

"A few days later I got a call saying that Donnie had agreed to do the record with me.

"We had a wonderful time making it. Donnie is so nice and friendly.

"But I know I upset a lot of his fan. They were jealous of me being so close to Donnie," she admits.

"At one time they chased me down the street, shouting all kind of horrible things at me. I was very scared,"

The New Kids source says: "Before this record, the guys may all have had their differences, but they never really made them public. Donnie’s record shows the world they are desperate to do other things outside the band.

"It gives the lie to the fact that they are all perfectly happy in the group."

"They feel frustrated with the limitations of the group. After Donnie, Jordan is set to be the next Kid to go out on his own.

"He’s also planning a duet with a beautiful girl singer."

. . . & Shy ‘Kid’ Falls for Rocker Tiffany

New Kids on the Block heartthrob Jonathan Knight is locked in a sizzling secret romance – with teen rock queen Tiffany!

"Jon and Tiffany met last summer when the Kids were the opening act for Tiffany’s concert tour," said an insider. "When they weren’t performing or rehearsing, they were hanging our in each others hotel rooms watching TV and playing Scrabble.

"Jon, 21m was absolutely crazy about 18-year old Tiffany. But the problem is that Jon is probably the shiest of the Kids. He was terrified to ask her out."

Then fellow band member Donnie Wahlberg took matters into his own hands.

"One night he got the guys together to go for ice cream," said the insider. "Tiffany and the Kids were staying at the same hotel and Donnie invited her, too.

"But at the last minute, Donnie suddenly ‘remembered’ an errand. He told the other group members that he needed their help – paving the way so Jon and Tiffany could go alone.

"And than when Jon finally got Tiffany alone, he worked up the nerve to ask her out on a real date."

Since then, Jon and Tiffany have been inseparable. They even sit next to each other on the tour bus, holding hands and stealing kisses. And the romance continued after the tour ended last September. They’ve gone to the movies, dinner and on shopping sprees.

Said a source close to the stars: "They’re the picture of a couple in love."

But it’s a picture Jon’s managers and record executives don’t want the public to see. That’s because they’re worried teen girls might be turned off to learn Jon’s got a steady, say insiders.

But that hasn’t cooled the romance. Jon stays at Tiffany’s house when he’s in Los Angeles, according to the couple’s friend. In late February, Tiffany flew to Florida to join Jon while the Kids were on tour and during March he flew to New York to be with her.

"Tiffany is the greatest thing that’s ever happen to Jon."

All She did was ask for his autograph & Jordan knocked Renea’s block off

PRETTY boy Jordan Knight punched a woman in an exclusive Atlanta nightclub and knocked her to the floor - then the New Kid on the Block ordered the savage beating of a man who came to her rescue, charges a lawyer involved in a lawsuit stemming from the incident.

The attorney who filed the suit in Fulton County, Ga., Superior Court told The GLOBE in an exclusive interview that Jordan was boozing it up at Rupert's nightclub when he punched the woman.

Then, the attorney says, the singer ordered the "malicious beating" of salesman Larry Wilhams, 32, of Broodhaven, Miss., who tried to intervene. He is suing Jordan, 20, for an undisclosed amount of damages.

The woman, 22-year-old Renea Akins of Atlanta, has yet to file a complaint, explains attorney Jeff Kaufman, who is representing Williams.

"Jordan Knight hit her with such force that she fell to the floor," Kaufman reports. "She didn't know what happened. All she did was ask Jordan for an autograph, and then he turned around and hit her with his fist."

Jordan was standing at the bar, swigging drinks ordered by his principal bodyguard, Steven "Robo" Chandler, 31, of Boston, says Kaufman.

Renea, a tall, striking redhead, approached Jordan for an autograph. "He turned around and punched her," Kaufman says. "It was vicious and totally unprovoked." Renea, who was stunned by the attack, managed to get to her feet and went to another bar in the club, where she told Williams about the incident, Kaufman says.

"Larry insisted on taking the girl back to Jordan to have him apologize, but Robo jumped in front of him before he got there," Kaufman adds. "'Do you have a problem?" asked Larry. Larry told him: 'No, but your friend over there does.

"Robo turned to look at Jordan and Jordan nodded his head as if to say: 'Take care of it.' Then Robo pummeled Larry to the floor with flurry of vicious blows.

"Robo just kept hitting him until bouncers pulled him off. Before they could get him under control, Robo Robo punched man, Douglas Winston right off a bar stool."

Winston, 21, from Yonkers, N.Y., also both Jordan and Robo for an undisclosed Kaufman says.

Winston and Williams were both treated Atlanta hospital for their injuries, says Kaufman, and they filed battery charges against them Chandler the same day.

The brawny bodyguard was arrested but later released on $3,000 bond, court documents reveal. Police are still investigating criminal charges against him.

The injured Williams incurred more than $10,000 in medical bills. Kaufman claims.

"He suffers from a herniated disc, double vision and he can't talk right because of serious injuries to his jaw. He has lost about $50,000 already because of lost time on the job."

Renea wasn't the only girl roughed up by Jordan, claims Rick Andrews. a club employee who watched a lot of girls crowd around the singer after he entered the club with two bodyguards.

"They weren't pushing or anything – they were just going up to him to say hello," Andrews explains. "But he got real ugly.

"’Get away from me, you bitches,’ he shouted at the girls," says Andrews. "’F--- you all!"

"And then he grabbed this one brunette by the face and practically threw her across the room.

Renea has declined to discuss the incident - but a friend says that it has been an unceasing source of torment for her.

"She hates Jordan Knight for what he did to her," the friend told The GLOBE. "She knows he should be punished for what he did, but she's afraid of him and hasn't filed any charges.

"She still has nightmares about the way he hit her," the friend adds.

Jordan denies that he ever struck Renea or that he ordered Robo to beat up Williams, according to papers filed by Jordan's Atlanta attorney. William Campbell.

"A woman I had never seen before approached me and began berating me in a vile manner, calling me crude and obscene names," Jordan contends in court papers.

"She continued to scream: 'I hate you. I hate you.' I thought that she was intoxicated and I said to her: 'Excuse me?'

"The woman continued in a very loud and belligerent manner to yell the same vile and obscene names at me.

"I finally moved her over to the side and walked past her because she seemed to be so intoxicated that she was beyond any reasonable or rational discussion."

Robo supports Jordan’s story and contends that he only swung at Williams in self-defense after the salesman attacked him.

Kaufman quizzed Jordan about the violent incident at the club for nine hours in a marathon deposition hearing.

"Jordan's a nice kid, but he lies," the exasperated attorney says. "He tells incredible stories that just aren't true.

"I was surprised how polite he was, how patient. He’s so delicate, like a girl. He’s very effeminate. Jordan raised the subject of homosexuality," Kaufman adds. "He said there were people who called him bad names because he is so delicate and effeminate.

"I asked him what kind of names. And he said that people had called him a gay. He said no when I asked him if he was a homosexual.'

Robert O'Brien Jr.. chief assistant solicitor general in Fulton County. says his office is still gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses in the assault case.

The day after the Aug. 7 nightclub fracas. New Kid Donnie Wahlberg was also in a scuffle in Atlanta. Fraternity brothers at the Kappa Sigma fraternity house at Georgia Technical University say the New Kid started a fight with them.

"We were out in the front yard tossing a Frisbee when the New Kids came driving by on their motorcycles," Brian Kitchens, 19, told The GLOBE.

"By accident, the Frisbee hit Donnie in the back of the head. He braked, swung his motorcycle around and came driving up to us, flanked by his pair of bodyguards.

"He walked up to our frat brother. Ricky Kimball who is 21 years old and about five feet, nine inches and 160 pounds. Donnie started pushing Ricky around and then slugged him in the face.

"We all ran over to help Ricky, but these two bodyguards squared off with us and we didn't want to fight with them.

"Luckily, the campus police came and broke it up. They got on their motorcycles and drove away.

"It seems like all the New Kids on the Block want to do is fight - but not without their big bodyguards with them.

"There’s a lot of us here in Atlanta that hope the New Kids never come back. We don’t need these punks running around beating up people.

'New Kids' orders preacher Dad: stay out of our lives

TEEN idol Jon Knight of New Kids on the Block is making sure the father who left him stays out of his life.

"Dad always begs me to go and visit him and his new wife, but I won't," says Jon. "He's certainly not invited to this house."

Jon, 20, and his brother Jordan, 19, also in the hot pop group, are two of six children their mom had to bring up alone after their father, an Episcopal priest, left six years ago.

"I get really angry," says Jon. "But Mom was brave. She held us together."

Jordan says: "Neither of us has seen Dad since he left, but I've spoken with him a few times on the phone and we sometimes get cards. Jon refuses to have anything to do with him, and hasn't said a word to him."

Their father, the Rev. Allen Knight, told STAR: "Sadly I have no contact at all with my boys. They're not mature enough yet to understand events in our lives that happened in the past." He is proud of his children and last month attended a New Kids concert in Boston with his new wife.

"We both sat at the back of the theater, and when I saw my boys up there on the stage with all those kids screaming for them I was busting my shirt with pride," he says.

"I wanted to stand up and cry out, 'Hey, these are my kids!'"

Knight's first wife, Marlene Puttnam reared their six children in the tough Dorchester section of Boston. She is a 49-year-old social worker who battled to keep the youngsters from running with the gangs.

"They were tough street kids, but I was tougher," Marlene says of her brood. "When their close friends were ending up in jail or dead, I fought to make sure they stayed on the right track in life. All the time I drummed into them that crime was not the way forward.

"I told them money from drug dealing or robberies wouldn't get us a decent life; it would only condemn us to the gutter so many of their friends ended up in."

Marlene will never forget the struggle to raise her kids in a neighborhood where, according to the local newspaper, it's easier to buy drugs than groceries.

"It has been very hard at times," she says. "You hear at least one shooting on most nights in Dorchester. Drugs are the root of the problem. Dealers as young as 13 sell it in schools and on doorsteps. But Jon and Jordan know it'd break my heart if they ever used drugs or carried a gun

"My boys were always determined to succeed and I was equally deter mined to help them," she adds.

"I considered moving to get away from it all but my kids were happy.'

With the millions the chart-topping brothers have made, they intend to make life a lot easier on their morn and repay much that she's given them with a new 20-room house.

"Now that we're rich we can give back some of the love she gave us," says Jordan.

Their loving mom says: "I’m very proud of my boys. We’re in the process of buying a mansion –and it’s all very exciting."

NEW KID ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK?

DONNIE WAHLBERG is punching his way out of a dream spot in the world’s top-selling teen pop group - New Kids on the Block.

After Wahlberg beat up a college student on an airliner earlier this month, tile other New Kids and their staff started worrying he could spoil the group's squeaky-clean appeal and wreck their careers. "Up until now, the band has had a goody-goody, clean-cut image. Donnie's behavior is ruining that," says close to New Kids management.

"As role models, the band's message is one of no violence. That's what their girl fans have fallen in love with," adds Emmett Folgert, a youth club leader in the band's hometown of Dorchester, Mass.

Donnie's rebellious attitude has gotten so outrageous that the band may have to give Wahlberg the boot to keep their mega-fortune rolling in.

"Not only could it lose us fans, but it could also wreck lucrative sponsorship deals which the band-including contracts with McDonald's and Coca-Cola," says the management source.

"These companies are very sensitive to bad publicity. The last thing they want is to be associated with hoodlums or thugs. Everyone is furious about the way Donnie has been carrying on."

According to Forbes magazine, the New Kids' records, concerts and big-bucks endorsements have Lade them the fifth richest performers in the world, raking in an astonishing $78 million in the pat two years.

Naughty Donnie has been warned in top-secret meetings to "shape up and get a grip on himself," or face being booted from the band.

Band lawyer Len Lewin admitted: "Yes, a program is going to be established to change the way the New Kids conduct themselves."

According to Jae-Ha Kim, author of the bestselling Meet The New Kids on the Block, "Donnie still has enough street kid in him to disrupt the group and maybe they'd be better off without him."

Pop expert Geoff Baker, Paul McCartney's spokesman, adds: "Donnie should grow up. What he's doing could wreck the band's image."

Tough-guy Wahlberg admits he's fed up with playing a nice New Kid. "I'm not a saint and I hate pretending that I am one. I hate having to act like a total goody-goody," he says. "People who think I'm just a wimp have another think coming."

THE UNLUCKIEST KID ON THE BLOCK

Jamie quit rock superstars New Kids on the Block because he wanted more time for girls. Now he's missed out on $millions

You could call Jamie Kelley the unluckiest kid on the block because he could have been one of the New Kids on the Block.

While the teen pop sensations are raking in millions, the group's dropout lead singer is still hanging out in the group's old Boston neighborhood-because he was more interested in partying and girls.

"The ground rules with the guys were no drinking, no smoking. But I'm going out with my friends and having a few beers and going out with girls. That's what I wanted to do," he says.

"I really wasn't into their straight lifestyle and they knew that, so I just separated from the group. They said 'See you later.'

"I had other friends at school so I started going out with them. This is what caused the breakup."

Jamie, who is a high school senior, vows he wouldn't change places with his buddies for all their millions.

"I don't envy my old pals their fame or riches. No way," says 18 year-old Jamie, who was replaced up front by Joey McIntyre.

Jamie sang with Donnie Wahlberg, the Knight brothers, Jon and Jordan and Danny Wood for "a year or so. I was just 13 or 14 when the whole thing got started" he recalls "Back then, Donnie and I were buddies. One afternoon we were just hanging around when a talent manager came looking for us.

"She told us, ‘We want to start a kind of a music group, one that will appeal to younger audiences.’

"We didn't know really what to think. We talked about it for a while, wondering what it was all about, this new music group they had in mine. It sounded good so we said ‘OK’. That was in 1984.

"We started the group calling ourselves The Kool Aid Bunch. We were all buddies, just street kids, and we all had an interest in music. At the time there was just me, Donnie and his brother Mark.

"Mark dropped out a year later and then it was Jon and Jordan and Danny. I was one of the original five. I was singing with them for about a year.

"I was hanging out with the Kids all the time, and at the same time going to another school.

"We all went out together, rented movies together, whatever we did, it was always together," Jamie says.

His former buddy Donnie Wahlberg says: "Jamie was a really good friend of mine. I think one day he might regret leaving this group, but he just wasn’t into it at all."

New Kid wants to be a girl!

By Jasmine Lafleur

Lead singer Jordan Knight, 20, has informed bandmates that he's going to undergo a sex change as soon as possible.

"Jordan has been thinking about this for several years," says a close friend of the teen idol.

"He’s always been a very delicate and sensitive person, unsure of his sexual identity.

"He told me once that he felt as if there was a woman trapped inside him -and that sooner or later lie had to let that woman out or he'd go crazy.

"That time has come. He can't wait any longer without endangering his future."

News of Jordan's decision has come as a shock not only to his millions of fans, but also to the other New Kids.

"'The others really flipped out when he told them," says his friend.

"They took it as a personal affront - especially Donnie Wahlberg, who had to be restrained from attacking Jordan.

"They wouldn't listen to his explanations. All they could think about was the effect it would have on the group's popularity.

"Donnie started yelling at him: ‘What do you think you're doing? You're going to destroy us with your stupid whims.’"

Managers for the supergroup are also concerned about what would happen if Knight went through with his sex change.

"He’s the one the fans identify with most. He’s upfront and at center stage.

"You can just imagine what those teenage girls will say when they find out Jordan is about to become a woman.

"At the moment, we're trying to talk him out of it, trying to convince him this isn't in his best interest.

"We've also offered to get him the best counseling and psychiatric help possible.

"He needs to talk this over before he goes ahead with it."

It seems that Knight first began thinking of the sex change after a series of incidents where he lashed out at his fans - seemingly for no reason.

"Jordan has always been a very gentle type of person," says a friend. "In fact, he’s been called effeminate, among other things.

"So, he really couldn’t understand what happened in Atlanta – where he punched a woman who asked for his autograph.

"He told me : ‘I can’t believe I did that. Suddenly, I felt this rage deep inside me.

"’I wanted to hurt someone, but I didn’t know why.’

"He also insulted a group of female fans who wanted to see their idol.

"He called them names and swore at them before pushing them out of the way."

Knight was so disturbed by his own behavior that he went and sought psychiatric help.

"The psychiatrist explained that Jordan was really lashing out at himself," says his friend.

"The psychiatrist told him: 'Somewhere inside you lurks a woman.

"'You have to allow that woman to come out and express herself.

"'If you don't, you'll be tormented for the rest of your life.'"

Knight hasn't yet set a timetable for his sex change. But he has indicated that he wants to go through with it as soon as possible.

"At this point, there's definitely no talking him out of it," says his friend.

"The way he sees it, he can have either continued fame and frustration or oblivion and peace of mind.

"Like any intelligent person, he’s choosing peace of mind.

My Nights of Kinky Sex with Nude Kids on Block

Sex booze and kinky all-night orgies with their teeny-bopper fans. That's the shocking and sordid truth behind the squeaky clean image of the New Kids on the Block, a GLOBE investigation has revealed.

"I had sex with three of the five New Kids," Melissa Cantu told r]'he GLOBE in a world exclusive interview. "They passed me around until I was thrown away.

"Now I'm broke because I spent about $5,000 following them around during the last year. I feel I've been used by them and I am very angry and confused!" Melissa, an attractive brunette waitress from Houston, Texas, says she was just a 19-year-old fan looking for auto-graphs when she was lured into the pop group's kinky sex sessions

"I thought that they were so wholesome when I went to their concert in Austin, Texas," she explains. "But my whole image of those 'wholesome boys' was shattered after a night of shameful sex with New Kids Jordan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood."

Melissa says that she and a girlfriend hung around after the Austin concert in hopes of somehow meeting the Kids.

"My cleavage caught the eye of one of the backstage crew members," she says. "I wanted so desperately to meet the New Kids that I asked him to take us to them. Then Uncle Rob, the wardrobe guy, said he'd tell us where the New Kids were if he could take pictures of me in my lacy bra and my pantyhose.

"I wanted to meet them so bad that I let him do it. Uncle Rob made a phone call and told me: 'Go to the Four Seasons Hotel. A fellow named Robo will be there in the lobby waiting for you.'

"This bodyguard, nicknamed Robo, I learned later, pretty much picks out the girls that he knows the guys will want. He told me he'd take me upstairs to meet Jordan and Donnie and said: 'They're going to want to bite you all over.' I went with him to room 835. He told me to sit in a

chair. Suddenly, there was pounding on the door and screaming I was so scared, I tried to hide under the bed.

"Then the door opened and usually mild-mannered Jordan, dressed in a white T-shirt and black sweats and white socks. He sat on the bed, and he tapped it like he wanted me to come over there and sit beside him.

"'Oh, my God,' I thought, but I went and sat next to him. He put his arm around me and said: ‘Don’t worry, Jordan is here’ and he laid my head in his lap and rubbed my hair. I felt weak and petrified.

"Suddenly, Donnie came in, shirtless in a pair of black pants. He made a crude comment about the size of my breasts, but Jordan hugged me tighter and made him and Robo leave the room.

"We drank about two-and-a-half bottles of beer each and talked. Then Jordan lay down on the bed with his hands behind his head and said: 'I need a massage!' He rolled over and scared a t first, I started massaging his back through his shirt. He said: ‘Your hands feel good to me.' Then he turned over and started touching my breasts and he took my hands and guided them down…

"My emotions were in a turmoil. Jordan is the most gorgeous of the New Kids. He sings beautifully. He’s a little mini-god.

JORDAN took my hands and inched them down. Then he wanted me to perform oral sex. I didn't want to do it. I just wanted to be with him. But I gave in and did it. Why? It was the intoxication of being with someone like Jordan.

"He wasn't through with me. We went into the bathroom and he tool and made me do other things. I did what he wanted - like a puppet. There was no emotion, no tenderness.

"When Jordan was finished, Robo came back into the room and said: ‘Donnie wants to see you.' He led me two doors down the hall to a room that was dark and really messy. Donnie was in bed without a shirt, the cover pulled up, watching TV.

"We talked about music. I was sitting on the bed, fully clothed. Then he said: 'Oh, I need a massage.' That's the line Jordan and Donnie use: 'I need a massage.’

"They are like partners in crime. And it's hard to resist them, because they make you feel like you have to. I was massaging – an then he rolled over. He asked me did I ‘do’ Jordan – did I perform oral sex. I didn’t tell him and he said:

"’It’s all right. We don’t talk. I’m serious. We don’t talk about these things.’ Then I had oral sex with Donnie."

When Donnie had finished with her, he summoned Robo who took Melissa to his room, where her girlfriend had been waiting. The three of them spent the night sleeping in Robo’s bed, but Melissa insists there was no sex going on.

In the darkness, while the other two slept, she was tormented by what was happening to her. "I knew I was being handed from one to the other, but I was blocking it out in my mind," she says. "My thought was: ‘You’ll never see them again!’"

In the morning, at about 8 a.m., Robo took Melissa to Danny Wood’s room. He was her favorite New Kid, the one she had wanted to see all along.

"He had a huge smile on, but also an irritated ‘You just woke me up’ look. His room was meticulous. Everything was in place. He’s just the neatest person in the whole world. He even had his socks folded up in little balls.

"He said: ‘Excuse me while I have my breakfast.’ He didn’t offer me anything and I was so nervous, I just babbled away about the hell I had to go through to meet him. I told him the whole story.

"Then I looked at him and I saw that he wasn’t even listening to a word I was saying. ‘I’m sorry,’ he said. ‘I’m just reading the sports page.’

"I burst into tears. I sobbed: ‘I came all this way and you don’t like to be bothered. Can I just have your autograph?’ So he looked up and said: ‘First you’ve got to show me those big boobs of yours!"

"I said: ‘I can’t believe you, I can’t believe all of you! Everybody wants something from me. What’s wrong with you? It doesn’t take anything for you just to put your name on a piece of paper!

"And he said: ‘It doesn’t take anything for you just to lift up that bra.’ And then I had sex with him, too. Oral Sex. And he gave me his autograph.

"By this time, I was totally hooked on the New Kids. I followed them to other concerts, in Miami, Tampa, Dallas, Houston and twice to New York, and I had se one more time – with Jordan.

"I refused to do group sex. In Miami, Jordan and Donnie wanted me to perform oral sex on them at the same time. I refused. In New York in March, Donnie said to me: ‘You’re mine tonight!"

"But then he brought his brother Jimbo and he wanted a threesome. I refused again. I just couldn’t do it.

"My being a ‘groupie’ was like an addiction for a year. I got little or no sexual satisfaction out of it. My big satisfaction was being able to please them.

"That was a big turn-on for me. Just being with them was enough. And that’s how they used me, until they got tired of me.

"They had so many other girl – I’ve seen a lot of them being led up to their hotel room," says Melissa. "It’s only their fame that makes them so attractive to the girls, because they’re certainly no super studs. They are just normal guys."

Melissa’s story is not unique. A GLOBE reporter who followed the teen heartthrobs on their most recent cross-country tour discovered a sordid trail of empty beer bottles and used condoms. All the New Kids - Donnie Wahlberg, 20; Jordan Knight, 20; Danny Wood, 21; Joe McIntyre, 17; and Jonathan Knight, 21-throw wild parties in their hotel rooms.

THEY'RE party guys," says Rene OuIette, a devoted 18~year-old fan whom and members have nicknamed "Miami." They curse. They drink. They moke. And these guys really like girls - new girls every night!"

Rene, who lives in Jacksonville, Fla., spent a staggering $20,000 of her grandparents' money following the Kids on tour.

"I must have spent thousands of dollars on roses alone," she says. "But it’s all worth it if I get to spend a night with one of the New Kids," she says.

Rene says that the love-obsessed girls who follow New Kids form city to city are usually pelted with group's local fans. Those little teenage groupie kids - the 15-year oIds really hate us," she told the GLOBE.

"I've been called a slut and a whose by these so-called innocent little girls cause I've gotten to be with the New Kids a few times in the last two years.

"One time, when I was getting limousine with a couple of the Kids, two young girls ran up and started pulling my hair and scratching my face."

Another fan, Melissa Ambrose, 16, told The GLOBE: "You have to dress like a streetwalker to get any attention from the New Kids. And just won't do that.

"The New Kids go for these little chicks in tank tops and tight skirts. The ones with the big …well, you know the I'm talking about. The ones who walk right past security guard and police right into the arms of the New Kids."

Donnie, a brawny scrapper with a hot temper and a quick punch, left behind him a trashed hotel room in Atlanta after the group's concert there

Empty beer bottles were strewn everywhere around the room, together with cocktail glasses and lipstick-stained cigarette butts. There was an empty condom packet laying beside his unmade bed.

The next night, an employee of the hotel stood close by and watched as a middle-aged employee of the New Kids headed for the elevator with two blonde-haired girls and two six-packs of beer.

"I think it's disgusting." the hotel staffer told The GLOBE. "They've been doing that all night - bringing girls up to the New Kids' rooms. And some of them look over 15. You can't tell me they’re going up there to watch TV. It's a disgrace."

But Melissa White, 15, who was skipping school and sleeping in a car outside the hotel in Atlanta, told The GLOBE: "If I could, I'd use a pair of suction c climb up the side of the building to meet them. I don't like Joey - I love him. I'd do anything for him. Anything!"

Her 15-year-old girlfriend, Meredith Williams, added: "We spent all day trying to figure out where they were going to be staying. We met a girl wearing a Danny doll in her cleavage who told us. She had a really big cleavage."

But disillusioned Melissa Cantu sees the group differently. "The New Kids used me and abused me," she says. "I was a fool, blinded by their stardom. Really, they are nothing but gutter rats.

"I hope other girls - especially young ones - profit from my experience. I hope they never have to endure the humiliation I was put through."

Donnie’s brother is nasty thug who landed in prison

Mark Wahlberg, the younger brother of New Kids on the block star Donnie Wahlberg, is a brawling hooligan with a violent criminal record at the age of 19.

"He’s a punk heading straight for a big-time jail sentence if he doesn’t straighten up," a witness to one of Mark’s rowdy physical attacks told The GLOBE.

Mark, the leader of his own band, Markie Mark and the Funky Bunch, has a police record for fighting, assaulting cops and roughing up girls.

He's already served time in a state prison for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

He was arrested again this month for threatening an off-duty cop with an aluminum baseball bat and assaulting a man in a fight outside a Boston bar.

Last August, Mark was arrested for assaulting a 24-year-old woman and her boyfriend.

During that fracas, witnesses say, an arresting officer was slugged in the face with a pair of brass knuckles.

Two years ago, Mark was arrested for beating three men with a five-foot wooden pole in a street fight. Police said two of his victims were hospitalized with head injuries.

Mark was found guilty of assaulting the men and ended up serving a three-month prison sentence in the Plymouth Corrections Institute in Plymouth, Mass.

"Mark Wahlberg is nothing but a young punk who likes to start trouble," says 23-year-old Steven Sherlock, who filed charges of assault and battery against hot-headed Mark after the rumble last August.

"And his brother Donnie, the big start of the New Kids on the Block, has exactly the same kind of reputation that Mark has. They’re just a couple of street punks with a bundle of money.

Mark things his brother’s money can buy him out of any trouble he gets into. So far, he’s right. But he's heading for a long jail term one of these days."

Mark's latest violent outbreak, on Dec. 2, allegedly took place outside a small bar in the Dorchester area of Boston, where the Wahlberg family lived before Donnie became a famous and rich rock star.

MARK slugged a man and when the youth's sister smashed the headlight of his car, he turned around and assaulted the girl, claims Billy Walsh, a 35 year old Boston bank employee who witnessed the fracas.

"Mark grunted and growled like a wild animal and lifted her up in the air," he says. "He banged her down on the hood of the car. You could hear the sound of her head hitting the hood.

"Mark had his hands on her throat and he was spitting curse words in her face. Her brother, his nose still bleeding like a broken sewer pipe, ran at him and shouted: 'Leave my sister alone!'

"Mark opened the trunk of the car, grabbed a bat and ran at the fellow and his sister. He swung it with all his might. He hit his own car. If he'd hit the guy, he would've killed him."

It took an off-duty policeman with a gun to get the bat away from Mark, Walsh adds.

The plainclothes cop rushed Mark, body-blocked him and threw him against the wall," he says. "He pressed his gun to Mark's forehead and hissed: 'Drop the f------ bat, Markie!"'

The other man involved in the fight, 23-year old William Smith of Dorchester, refused to discuss his side of the story when he was reached by telephone. "I ain't sayin' nothin' about it," Smith told The GLOBE. "Mark's m~ friend. We just got into an argument. It was nothin'."

But Mark is facing charges 0' two counts of assault with ~ deadly weapon and malicious destruction of property, police say

New Kid’s handwriting reveals he’s a walking timebomb

New Kids heartthrob Donnie Wahlberg is a ticking timebomb on the verge of expoding in a frenzy of self-destructive violence, his handwriting reveals.

"Donnie is suffering form a tremendous emotional breakdown that could destroy not only his career but his life as well," says Anne Conway, who is the author of "Instant People Reading Through Handwriting" (Sterling) and an expert analyst who’s certified by the nationwide Handwriting Analysis Foundation.

After examining the 21-year-old rock idol’s signature for The GLOBE, she said bluntly: "His is the most shocking and revealing I’ve ever seen.

"His signature Is filled with crazy spirals and wild looping circles, representing his insecurity. He’s both scared and scary. He’s hurting and he wants to hurt.

"The counter-clockwise movement shows his intense anxiety. He’d ready to explode in wild fits of violence."

Donnie signed the autograph shown on this page on Nov. 29 at the Marriott Hotel in Atlanta. The signature read: "To Sarah, from Donnie Wahlberg."

"His signature keeps drooping down the page," adds Conway. "It shows severe depression. He’d trying to maintain this upbeat image but he can’t stand it. He’s self-destructing. He needs help."

Elizabeth Gordon, a top psychotherapists in West Pals Beach, Fla., with more than 20 years of handwriting analysis experience, also applied her expertise to the pop star’s autograph for The GLOBE.

"The sharp points in the middle of Donnie’s signature indicate the irritability inside him," she said. "He can be very gentle. At other times, he’s violent.

"When he gets this way, he wants to strike out at people – even those closest to him," she adds.

"There’s such a bizarre quality to his handwriting. It’s as if it were written by a person high on drugs.

"He’s got to get help - and fast!"

‘Call them New Jerks on the Block’

-says mom after sick 4-year-old gets heartbreaking snub from super group

NEW Kids on the Block ought to change their name to New Jerks on the Block after breaking the heart of a sick little girl, says her mom.

Four-year-o1d Diana Childers of Westminster, S.C., has undergone five open-heart operations to correct a congenital defect that prevents blood flowing to her lungs. Her dream was to meet Jordan Knight and the other Kids at their Greenville, S.C., show. Instead, she and her mom Patricia were yelled at and ordered out of the group's trailer.

"Even now Diana bursts into tears when she thinks about it. It's not good for her to get upset, her heart being the way it is," says Patricia.

"When the papers announced that the New Kids were coming. Diana went crazy," says 31-year old Patricia, a teacher's assistant with the Westminster school board. "I was upset, because with all the medical bills I didn't know how we could afford to go," she adds. "Then someone from the local Jaycees called and said they'd take care of everything."

Greenville radio station WMYI-FM and the Jaycees arranged tickets, a limo, dinner and passes to meet the New Kids before the concert.

It all went off without a hitch - until it came time to meet the teen megastars.

"The limo drivers took us to a trailer where a nice lady told us the New Kids would be arriving in a minute," says Patricia.

"Diana was so excited - she couldn't wait to see them. Then the lady left and I heard people getting mad and yelling outside.

"A man came in, picked up a phone, yelled at someone and slammed down the phone. He turned on us and yelled, 'Just what the hell are you doing here?'

"We explained that we were waiting to see the New Kids and he said, in a very nasty voice, 'Not in this lifetime,' and told us to get out of the trailer.

"Outside, a woman named Cathy from the New Kids organization told u to go to our seats and

watch the concert.

"Diana was so upset that we left halfway through the concert. She was sitting in my lap crying the whole time," says Patricia.

"She shouldn't have been treated so badly. I don't see why they couldn't take out a few minutes to see a four-year-old."

The New Kids' organization later sent Diana a T-shirt, pictures and buttons. And Diana hasn’t given up on her idols. "I still like them," she says.
