Imagine Me

I know my voice you cannot hear,

My lips did not form those words so dear,

Through my eyes I could relate,

My thoughts, expressions and noises I could make

I never ran, nor jumped or really truly played.

Within my own world I stayed.

Looking out through a tearful, misty haze,

At the outside world with a wondering gaze.

The breath of my life,

Was a constant struggle, and strife.

Many procedures and endless routines,

In and out of hospitals, surgeries, on and off machines.

I failed endlesslly against the tide,

So short was the time I had to bide.

I now have found that special light,

No longer so hard do I have to fight.

Think of me finally catching the ball,

See me ! I ran down the Hall !!

I'm the cowboy I've always wanted to be,

Just think, that way of me.

With a tambourine I really jam,

Think of me, playing with a radical band.

My nickname was bucket head,

Now with it play instead.

IMAGINE ME - I'M FREE !!!!

The Love Game

Once in the winter

on a very cold day,

Born into the world

was a boy, not so bold.

.....................

Born in the summer

on a quite fair.

A beautiful girl,

with shiny golden hair.

.....................

The years passed by

they ventured into the world.

The first day of school

for the boy and girl.

.....................

They were strangers at first.

For a many a day,

they knew only

of schoolwork and play.

.....................

As the years were passing,

friends they became.

The boy and girl played children's games.

.....................

As they became older,

and their lives were changing

the games they played

were re-arranging.

.....................

It happened in the summer,

during the course of the day.

They began to see each other

in a different way.

They were playing now

a game that was new.

That game was called Love

and it was true.

They grew up too fast

Became adults too soon.

The song they sang

was not always in tune.

Born into a world

In a sad sort of way

was a beautiful boy

on a cold winters day.

Raging emotions across the neuron sky,

Explosive flashes burning behind the eyes,

Passions creating sensory overload,

Lost in the aftermath futures are untold.

A young pair locked deep in embrace,

Come together and create a new face.

For they threw caution to the wind,

Forgetting everything but the moment they were in.

A delicate little life now begins,

Only destiny knows how it will end.

Two boys standing side by side,

One furious because the other lied.

A stir, a ruckus, a fight exploded,

Burst of fire, tempers loaded.

Mother cries and siblings scream,

A river of blood ends that dream.

Baby crying long and hard,center>

Parent’s patience is in shards.

Brain damaged and 22 broken bones,

Now they are all alone.

All have been sent to their own prisons,

Life destroyed by passion arisen.

Someone screams in middle of the night,

Spouse is set for a fight.

Bruises, and eyes blackened blue,

Neighbors know what is really true.

Nothing done! No call ever made,

Scene ends, with the digging of a spade.

Getting high, needle attached to syringe,

Lines emptied in a party binge.

Life is fun and life is good,

House stays dark in the neighborhood.

Five are lost for forever,

All sought a feeling of pleasure.

Loved ones dead, in buildings and planes,

All because of one’s man reign.

War eminent because of hatred and rage,

Determined to see U.S. wiped off the page.

Will the ultimate price be paid,

World destroyed by fingers laid?
