Art hits the big screen- Appearing in the upcoming Heather Graham movie, 'Comitted', Art portrays a car-jacking band front-man (or so I think). Originally Art was only going to have about 5 or 6 lines in the film, but then everyone realized he could act (he did go to film school at UCLA) so he now has about a page long part. Look for the film sometime in early 2000.

Well, it's official- Everclear will be releasing 2 albums in 2000. The first album, which is said to have more of a pop/R&B feeling, entitled "Songs From an American Movie, Vol 1: Learning How to Smile", should hopefully be released in April. They're second album, "Songs From an American Movie, Vol 2: Good Times for a Bad Attitude",  which is going to be "just a big rock record" as Art described it, will hopefully be released in August or so. 

A picture of Everclear and a brief article about their new albums is featured in the January 2000 issue of AP Magazine (Alternative Press) with No Doubt featured on the cover.

On December 6, Art Alexakis appeared on the radio show "Love Line".

Everclear recently filmed a concert scene for an upcoming movie entitled 'Loser'.
