Kort Dei Moczygemba

a noble bird?


Kort was born on May 7th, 1996 and died February 7th, 1997. He was killed by a car and it was about 2 weeks before we found his torn and bloated body.


Tegger Moczygemba



I found Tegger on my way to Wal-Mart. She was sitting in the middle of the road, holding up traffic. I picked her up and took her to the vet. She had a little cold so I gave her medication until she got better. Mom said she had to live outside, so we put her out with the other kittens. She was adopted by the kittens' mother, Polly. She was missing three weeks after that and was never found. Tegger was 8 weeks old.



Smurf Moczygemba




Smurf was born March 28th, 1996 and died October 23, 1996. She got into antifreeze and died on the front porch.


Jake




Jake was a stray and died May 7th, 1997. He was about 6 years old. He died from FIV and Feline Lukemia. He had a wife named Daria and some kittens who are all probably infected with both viruses, too.


Tiger


Tiger was the second most tame stray. He died May 19th, 1997. Tiger was around 1 year old. He got into a dog fight and his intestines got cut up. Tiger also tested positive for FIV and was put to sleep. No photo available (he looked a lot like Kort).



Forsythia Moczygemba



Sythi was my favorite out of Polly's kittens. She was so very sweet and small. Forsythia looked like a tiny African dog and she had a tiny mew. Sometimes, Sythi would follow her mom out into the woods to explore. I miss her a lot.

Joon Moczygemba



Baby Joon got F.I.P which is kind of like cancer. She had the dry variety. This disease pretty much turns the immune system against the cat's body and destroys cells as a result of an overreaction to the illness. The wet variety is when the cells burst and the fluid gathers in the chest or abdomen and causes painless distention but may hamper breathing if it's close to the lungs. The dry variety is when welts form all over the internal organs. Joonjoon had a very high fever and lesions on her feet and face. She hadn't been eating much and slept a great deal. She's buried in the Pet Cemetary Annex- Ding Dong, Texas.
