The show was fantastic and over 2 hours long. I last saw Bowie in 1983. He was as good as, if not better than, 20 years ago. Bowie was in a great mood and treated us to songs encompassing his nearly 4 decade-long career.

It was a straight-on rock show, which was more about the music and less about the theatrics that David Bowie is known for. Bowie was accompanied on stage by Earl Slick (guitar), Mike Garson (keyboards), Gail Ann Dorsey (bass/vocals), Sterling Campbell (drums), Gerry Leonard (guitar), and Catherine Russell (percussion/keyboards/vocals).

Bowie and Dorsey sang a moving version of the Queen/Bowie duet "Under Pressure". We were treated to hard rock numbers "Hallo Spaceboy" and "I'm Afraid of Americans", 70's staples like "Changes", "Fashion", and "Fame", as well as dance-inspired tunes like "Let's Dance" and "China Girl". Bowie also played a few songs off his new album, Reality, for which the tour is named.

Bowie will continue his US tour in Spring 2004.
