Beatle Links
and sources of information
Note: Instead of creating a huge and confused page linking every single Beatlepage
I find on the Web, I decided to mention only my main "sources of information". You can find
larger lists on these pages.
- The Spanish Beatles Page by Enrique Cabrera
Very well designed page, with reviews of Anthology,
details on each Beatles album (one album is being added each month), and
much more. Also in Spanish.
- Abbeyrd Beatles Page by Steve Marinucci:
Here you get the latest news about the Fabs! An excellent page
showing the evolution of the Anthology releases, plus interviews
transcripts and the discussion on releasing (or not) Capitol albums on CD.
- The Internet Beatles Album by Dave Haber
Lots of information taken from the newsgroup
rec.music.beatles, The Rutles, the OOPS effect and more.
Access faster through the sleeve notes.
- Mike's Beatles Page by Mike Markowski
Interesting framed page, featuring lots of links, complete UK discography with original
sleeve notes, and more.
- Joe Brennan page
The place to get technical information. Brennan compiled a huge
Recording Variations Guide
detailing differences between the released versions of each song, which tell a lot about their
recording and mixing history. There is also a full description of the
making of Strawberry Fields Forever and more.
- David Robinson Beatles Index
UK and US discographies, indexed by song or album, with sleeve notes and CD covers.
- Across the Universe by Frank Daniels:
Complete US Discography, with many album covers. Includes description
of rare formats and all Apple releases (Beatles and non-Beatles).
- The Beatles CDography by Mike Rolig:
Just what the title says. The source of most of my CD covers.
- Pepperland Pictures Archive by Sgt. Pepper:
Lots of pictures! The only source for images of the back covers of
British and American LPs, and singles' picture sleeves.
- The Internet Underground
Beatles Archive:
Simply the best page about Beatles' Bootlegs
on the Net! Very well organized and designed!.
SHUT DOWN WITHOUT NOTICE! Does anybody know where it has gone?
- Steve Clifford page:
Rare pictures and information on some Canadian issues. Also, a guide to
collecting Beatles memorabilia.
And for my Portuguese-speaking fellows:
- Mano's Anthology Page by Mariano Perdigćo
The first Brazilian Beatles' page. Only in Portuguese. Links
to the original Lennon demos of Free as a Bird and Real Love and Anthology
MIDI files.
The latest rumours about Anthology 3 with complete
track list. You can also vote for your favorite: FAAB or RL (this is also
in English!)
- Whiplash - The Beatles by Joćo Paulo Andrade
The first Beatles Biography in Portuguese on the Web! Very beautiful! Also Discography
and many files.
More to come on the Brazilian Page
