I found this review at the Rockabilly Rebel Weekend website.

This Southern Maryland group was one of my favorites. It's hard to be the first act, playing to a small audience, but TR's frontwoman, Wendy LeBeau, was in control. What struck me is the difference between a woman singing and the little-girl voices of the Ranch Girls. One is not necessarily better than the other, but I lean toward the blues belters.

The Ramblers started out slow, but then on Why Do You Do Me Like You Do, Wendy whipped out her kazoo and got everyone to grinnin'. The acoustic guitar solo by Eddie Shramek was skillful and entertaining and gave the band a break. Other band members, whose names you can thank Eddie for, are Lance LeBeau, Preston LeBeau and the justly famous Thommy Burns who also spearheads The Atomics. I just enjoyed this whole set thoroughly, helped by the fact that we could make out and enjoy every word Wendy sang.

Amendment: Let me rephrase that. No one was making out. We could make out the words.

The Twilight Ramblers performed at the
Capital City Barn Dance on June 13, 1998 at Alley Katz.
Some members performed on October 24, 1998
as the Flea Bops, also at Alley Katz.
