This section is to show my climbing buddies the photo's we take at different climbing spots, to introduce my friends elsewhere to Hong Kong climbing and provide information about climbing spots to anybody else who might be interested

Hong Kong doesn't seem to be a place where you could find nice climbing spots - Big skyscrapers and buildings in high concentration, smog, too many people etc..- but actually, there are some very scenic climbing spots, with a wide range of climbing grades to suit most climbers.

Most of the climbing routes in HK are sport routes, whereby bolts are drilled into the rock so that protective equipment can be kept simple and are easily placed. There are single and multi-pitch routes and some 'trad' routes can be found.

Although HK doesn't have the scale of climbing as Krabi and other well known spots, it has climbs that are quick and easy to get to and are very unexpectedly scenic considering their short distances from the city.
