In a time when it is virtually impossible to create a new musical style, there are few options left for diversity.
We took a shot at one of those options.
We've attempted to avoid a stereotypical sound by taking a sideways view at the pigeonholes, opting
to gestate somewhere in between.
Using the experience of our "metal" background we have captured that intensity and fused it with the
thematic grind of an industrial landscape, where we soon discovered, in a true contradiction of terms, that
ambience can possess a loudness.
We don't make noise, we manufacture sound.
With this, our first CD, we have undertaken to identify those emotions which react most to a little
prodding and testing. And the outcome, with the music as proof, is both
confronting and stirring.
This embryo (IT'S ALL IN YOUR MIND) is a clear indication that we've located the source of the
pulse. All that's left to do now is explore it's complexities.
SNORT are an enigma within the Australian underground scene. Paul Voorneman
and Scott Fuda have cast aside all musical barriers to create an EP that is aural testament to their
thoughts and emotions. They are artists who wield a brush driven by technology and the only limits are their collective conscious.
It's all metal guitars, programmed drums, keyboards and samples.
At times ambient, at times a blistering industrial attack,
