Oasis On Jay Leno Show: Oasis will perform on the Jay Leno Show on January 21st.

Oasis Walks Off Stage: Last night Oasis walked off stage at their performance in Glasgow, Scotland. Liam apparently got upset after a plastic bottle was thrown on stage hitting Bonehead. Liam told the audience that they would not accept such behavior and then walked off the stage with the rest of the group behind him. They were a little over halfway through the 110 minute set and just finished playing Wonderwall. The audience, upset that they didn't see the whole show booed an jeered as they made their way towards the exits. About one-third the fans refused to leave the theatre. Oasis is scheduled to play another show there tonight.

Oasis Live On MTV: Although unconfirmed, it appears that MTV will broadcast Oasis' show on December 14th live from the G-Mex Exhibition Center in Manchester, England. The show will be called "Oasis : All Around The World Live". Stay tuned for times.

New B-Sides: It is confirmed that the B-Sides that will be released with the single All Around The World on January 12th will be "Flashbax", "The Fame", and a cover of the Rolling Stones' classic 1968 "Street Fighting Man". They were all recorded six weeks ago at Ridge Farm Studios.

Australian Tour Dates: Although no dates were announced yet, Oasis is planning on touring Australia and New Zealand in late February into March. There are also plans for tour dates in Hong Kong and Japan.

New Single: In the USA, "I Hope, I Think, I Know" will be released (On Radio Only) the week of December 14th. They are doing this to promote sluggish sales of Be Here Now in the US.
In the USA "All Around The World" will be released the week of January 11th, 1998 on the radio only. It will be released the same week in the UK, but for radio and commercially.

Oasis On ABC: ABC will broadcast a show featuring Oasis on November 28th. The show will include highlights from the recent "Be Here Now" BBC documentary along with concert footage from their performance at Maine Road in the U.K. The time will be 12:30am.

Live Concert On TV: Oasis will perform a live concert on MTV on December 14. It will be broadcasted from the G-Mex Exhibition Centre in Manchester, England

Oasis Concert Live via Real Audio: The Czech radio station Europa 2, connectivity provided by EUnet, will transmit a live Oasis gig via Real Audio from Prague, Czech Republic on Friday, November 21, starting around 21:00 Central European Time. The URL has yet to be announced. Check back here before Friday for that information.

Second MTV Unplugged: It is confirmed that Oasis will do a second MTV Unplugged. This time it will be filmed in Manchester, England. The exact date filming will take place in unknown.

Noel's House Party: Noel recently invited Radio 1 on a guided tour of his house, Supernova Heights. During the tour which will be broadcasted at 6pm on December 25th, Noel will guide the listeners though his house and record collection.

Oasis Win at Q Awards: Oasis won the award for "Best Act In The World Today" from Q Awards at the Park Lane Hotel, London, England.

North American Tour Dates:Oasis announced the beginning of there North American tour. Tickets will be on sale November 1st or November 8th through Ticketmaster. Below are the dates:

Oasis Merchandise Available On-line: Oasis T-Shirts, Posters and other merchandise will now be available at the official Oasis Homepage. The sales will begin this Monday and speedy service is provided to all addresses worldwide. The site is also doing a promotion by giving away a free oasisinet.com T-Shirt for the first fifty people to order.

US City Added to Tour: Oasis will play at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia on January the 9th. Tickets will go on sale October the 18th, at 12:00PM through Ticketmaster. The Patriot Center holds 10,000 seats. No other US dates have been annouced.

Symphonic Oasis: The Philharmonic Orchestra will do an album that will contain 12 symphonic Oasis songs including such classics as Wonderwall, Live Forever, and Some Might Say. The album will be released in stores on October 21st.

December UK Tour Dates: Oasis management have added nine new tour dates for the month of December in the UK. There they are:

Oasis On USA Radio Live: The concert from the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC on Wednesday October 8th will be broadcasted live on radio stations. Check local radio schedules for details.

US Visa's Approved: Oasis will be able to perform in the USA after all. The band members took the drug tests required by the US and passed them. There is no word on when you US tour will begin.

Noel's House Broken Into: Supernova Heights, Noel's house has been broken into. It is believed that the thiefs broke into the house on Liam's birthday. According to police, the burglars make of with some of Meg's jewerly and other personal belongings. According to Creation Records, nothing was taken from the premises because the alarm deterred them.

US Tour?: The good news is Oasis has applied for an American visa for next February. It is rumored that they will play about 40 shows in the states during this time. The bad news is they are having trouble getting the visa from American customs. Since Liam has been arrested in the past for drugs, they must take a drug test before obtaining a visa. What does this mean for the tour....we'll have to wait and see.

German Tour Dates: New Tour Dates for the month of November have been announced. There will be five shows in Germany. Here is a list of shows from now through the end of November:

There will also be a performance on Saturday Night Live on October 4th and David Letterman on October 9th.

Don't Go Away Video: The new video from Oasis called Don't Go Away will premiere on MTV this Sunday night on 120 minutes.

All Around The World Video: According to newspaper reports, the new video due out around Christmas time for "All Around The World" is a take off the Beatles Yellow Submarine-esque cartoon adventure. The band is being chased by enemies through the animated video. Filming for the video has already begun at Elstree Studio's in London.

Oasis On Letterman: Oasis will be a guest on the David Letterman show on October 9th while they are in NYC.

Be Here Now drops to Number 9: After only two weeks on the billboard top 200, the third Oasis Album titled Be Here Now has dropped to number 9. The CD opened last week at number two.

NYC Concert Date: Oasis will perform on October 7,1997 and October 8,1997 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Tickets will go on sale this Saturday September 13th at 9:00 am (EST). Tickets may be purchased at the Hammerstein Ballroom boxoffice or thru ticketmaster. The price is $24.50 plus a processing charge for ticketmaster. The numbers for ticketmaster are: 212-307-7171 and 201-507-8900.

New Concert Info: Oasis will play at the Omnisport de Bercy in Paris on the 4th of November. There are also unconfirmed rumors that Oasis will play at the Point in Dublin, Ireland on New Years Eve.

Be Here Now is Number 2 in US: The new album Be Here Now has entered the Billboard Top 200 at number 2 instead of the expected number 1. Sales in the US are around 150,000 since the release date last tuesday.

New Single: The second single off Be Here Now is going to be "Stand By Me" and the release date is said to be September 22nd. The B-Sides are "(I Got) The Fever", "My Sister Love" on 12", and "Going Nowhere" on the CD.

George Harrison's Views On Oasis: In a recent interview, ex-Beatle George Harrison told reporters that Oasis is "nothing special." He also commented about U2 and The Spice Girls saying that they (including Oasis) have one thing in common, they seem to be better with the volume down.

New Album Sets UK Records: Be Here Now have set new sales records in the UK. In the first day of sales, 375,000 copies were sold beating Micheal Jackson Thiller which sold 350,000 copies in its opening day. The album sold over 700,000 copies in the first three days and is expected to pass the 1,000,000 mark by yesterday. (The totals are not available yet) Be Here Now is also expected to enter the USA Billboard Chart at Number One this week.

Alan White Marries: The last bachelor of Oasis got married at a private service in an Oxfordshire Hotel. He tied the knot with Liz Atkins who he met while filming the video for Don't Look Back In Anger.

"D'You Know What I Mean" is Number 9 on MTV: The new video was number nine on the weekly top 10. This is the first time the video has been on the countdown.

Oasis On Saturday Night Live: Oasis will appear on the October 4th edition on Saturday Night Live. They will perform two songs which have not been announced yet.

Be Here Now on Radio 1: On Monday, August 11th Radio 1 out of Britain will air the whole Be Here Now album between 6:30 and 8:30 (GMT). If you don't live in the UK you can also listen via Real Audio. Liam Cautioned by Police, Again: Liam was again given a formal caution last thursday (July 24th) after admitting to criminal damage following an arguement with a cyclist on July 10th. Police said that Liam grabbed ahold of the cyclist and forced him to ride along side his chauffeur-driven Mercedes. He then got out of the car and broke his Ray-Bans. The cyclist then reported the incident to Kentish Town Police Station where Gallagher was cautioned last week.

Ticket Sale Details: Tickets for the upcoming UK September tour dates will go on sale on Saturday July 26th at 9:00 am through the Oasis freephone ticket service. Tickets will be 17.50 plus a 1.50 booking fee except for the Earls Court date which will be 19.50 plus 1.50 booking fee. There is a limit of four tickets per person. The number to call is 0800 138 3333. You can purchase tickets by using a credit card number only. This number is for the UK only and is the only number you can call to purchase tickets. Oasis is looking for ways in the future to include persons living outside the UK.

New Single Tops Charts in UK: One week after the release of Oasis' new single it is number one on UKs top sellers list. The weeks sales tops 350,000 according to the PA Press.

Noel Writes Song for Irvine Welsh Film: Noel Gallagher comfirmed today that he will contribute a song for the upcoming Irvine Welsh film called The Acid House Trilogy which is based on a book he wrote. Welsh is most famous for his film Transpotting. This will be the first time Noel contributes to a film, he was offered to write a song for The Crow but turned it down.

"D'You Know What I Mean" Video on MTV: The new video will be aired on July 13th between 12:00 and 2:00 am. The show it will be featured on is called 120 minutes. Be sure to see it.

"D'You Know What I Mean" released today: The long awaited release from Oasis hit stores today. There were many midnight madness sales across the UK. Sales for the first week are expected to be around 400,000.

Tour Dates: Oasis Management recently announced the beginning tour dates for this fall. So far the only dates are in the UK. More dates to follow soon. Here's what I have so far.

Noel Marries: Noel Gallagher (30) and Meg Matthews (31) recently got married. They have been dating for many years and tied the knot yesterday in a private ceremony.

MTV Top 500: MTV recently counted down the top 500 videos of all time. Oasis' "Wonderwall" was their most popular video according to the list and placed at number 143. The number one video was Nirvanas' "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

New Album Info: It is confirmed, Oasis' long awaited third album will be released on August 18th in the UK. The United States release date is yet to be announced. The album which will be titled Be Here Now will include eleven out of the fifteen songs that Oasis has recently recorded.

Single Release Date Announced: The release date for the upcoming single has been officialed announced. The new single called D'You Know What I Mean will include three other songs on it. It will be released on July 7th worldwide.

Tour Info: Oasis will begin their ninth worldtour in late 1997/ early 1998. No official dates have been announced. I will make them available as I recieve information. In addition, they will open for U2 on June 18 & 19 in the Oakland Coliseam. If you would like tickets, call (707) 546-2277. Noel will also make an appearance at the Tibetan Freedom Movement on June 7th in New York City.

New Book Available: Oasis has just released a new book titled Getting High. The focus on the book is Liam and Noel and their success with Oasis. The book is available nationwide.
