+++ The group was formed by Larry Chance in the late 50s and started performing in the NY area +++ Their first hit, a cover of an earlier Harptones hit, "Life is but a dream", was released by ROME records in 1961 +++ Further local hits followed +++ Their first and only nationwide hit in the US was recorded in November 1962 and released in 1963 on OLD TOWN records - "Remember then" +++ Further recordings, although not making the US charts, included, among others, "I believe" (in honor of the late Larry Palumbo, who died in a parachute jump), "Remember me Baby" and "Long time coming" +++ During the 70s, Larry Chance tried several comebacks with different line-ups +++
