Born: December 5, 1932 Macon, Georgia

+++ Won a recording contract with RCA at a talent show in 1951 +++ First recordings for RCA included "Every hour" and "Get rich quick" +++ Recorded later also for PEACOCK, again without much success +++ Sent a demo tape to Art Rupe of SPECIALTY records in 1955 +++ His first recording session for SPECIALTY produced "Tutti Frutti", his first in a long string of million sellers, including "Long Tall Sally", "Lucille", "Good golly, Miss Molly" +++ Other noteworthy recordings of "The Prince of Clowns" included "Slippin' and slidin'" and "Rip it up" +++ His career came to a stop in 1959 when he decided to dedicate his life to religion +++ He reappeared in 1964 with "Bama Lama Lama Loo" +++ Little Richard is Rock'n'Roll at its best +++ His phrase from "Tutti Frutti" still explains, until this day , what Rock'n'Roll is all about:
"A-Wop-Bop-A-Loo-Bop-A-Lop-Bam-Boom" +++
